From Usenet -- "I can't really imagine waiting until 1997 to see all nine parts"

Earlier today, I saw that Google has made the last twenty years of Usenet available for search. They also provided links to a handful of memorable moments along the timeline since usenet was first introduced.

One that caught my eye was related to Star Wars, when a fan wrote about the upcoming release of Revenge [Return] of the Jedi. He also wrote the quote I used in my subject line about waiting another 15 years for the remaining movies to be made.
